Jessie Sears, a proud member of the Karuk tribe, is a producer and cinematographer based in Portland, Oregon. Currently a full-time video producer for Oregon Public Broadcasting under the science and environment department, she focuses on amplifying stories of Indigenous communities across the Pacific Northwest and Northern California.

Jessie is the co-producer and additional cinematographer for The Caldera, a documentary examining the complexities surrounding a proposed lithium mine in southeastern Oregon. Her previous work includes collaboration on Undamming Klamath, a film celebrating the Indigenous-led movement behind the largest river restoration in history.

Across her diverse portfolio of documentary, commercial, and narrative projects, Jessie interlaces themes of human connection and our profound bond with nature, driven by a commitment to be of service to under-represented communities with powerful stories to share.
